Ada Claire Timblin

Ada Claire Timblin, age 83, of Baxley died Monday, October 12, 2015 at her residence.
Mrs. Timblin was born March 17, 1932 in Appling County to the late Young Crosby and the late Sarah Mae Dunn Crosby. She was a member of Satilla Baptist Church. Mrs. Timblin was preceded in death by her husband, George Edwin Timblin.
Survivors include her two daughters & sons in law, Sheree & David Courson of Baxley & Gail & Randy Jackson of Brunswick; Son & daughter in law, Walter & Marylan Timblin of Baxley; 5 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 14, 2015 from Satilla Baptist Church with Rev. Tommy Davis & Rev. Jonathan Mann officiating. Mrs. Timblin will lie in state one hour prior to funeral service.
Interment will follow in Omega Cemetery.
Active pallbearers are Rocky Courson, Aubrey Lynch, Clifton Mincey, Randall Odum, J.F. Griffin, Jerry Johnson and Henry Crosby.
Honorary Pallbearers are the Senior Adult Sunday School Class of Satilla Baptist Church and Amicita Home Health.
Visitation will be Tuesday evening 6:00 until 8:00 pm at Swain Funeral Home.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Swain Funeral Home.
