Alice Joyce Ebel

Alice Joyce Ebel, age 88, passed away Tuesday, October 20, 2020.

Mrs. Ebel was born February 3, 1932 in Marksville, Louisiana to the late Richard Grantland Crawford and the late Margie Foster Crawford.  She was a member of First Baptist Church.  Mrs. Ebel was a retired school teacher and a member of the Appling County Retired Educators and Daughters of American Revolution.

Survivors include her husband of 62 years, Russell Irvin Ebel of Baxley; a daughter, Carol Sue Ebel of Baxley; sister & a brother in law, Della & Richard Black of Douglasville.

A private funeral service will be held at the Chapel of Swain Funeral Home with Rev. Joe Ferguson officiating.

Interment will follow in Glennville Veteran’s Cemetery.
