Allen Wayne Pohl

Allen Wayne Pohl, age 69, of Gibson, GA died Tuesday, April 12, 2016 in Augusta.

Mr. Pohl was born October 14, 1946 in Winnebago County, IL to the late DeWayne Ellsworth Pohl and the late Bernice Grace Aurand Pohl. He retired after ten years of service in the U.S. Navy and the U.S. Postal Service. Mr. Pohl was of the Church of God faith. He was preceded in death by his wife, Juanita Beckworth Pohl and a brother, Barry Pohl.


Mr. Pohl was survived by two sisters, Linda (Bruce) Breault of Rockford, IL and Valerie (Gary) Kramer of Cortland, IL.

Graveside services will be held Wednesday, April 20, 2016 at 2:00 PM in the Beckworth-Swinson Cemetery with Rev. Justin McLellan officiating.


Visitation will be Wednesday 1:00 until 1:30 PM at Swain Funeral Home.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Swain Funeral Home.
