Annie B. Waters

Annie B. Waters, age 84, of Baxley died Friday, July 17, 2015 at Twin Oaks Convalescent Center in Alma.
Mrs. Waters was born March 18, 1931 in Bacon County to the late Samuel Wells and the late Annie Mae Smith Wells. She was a member of Hopewell United Methodist Church and was preceded in death by her husband, Lelon Horace Waters, sister, Thelma Stephens, brothers, James Wells, John Wells and a brother in law, Carroll Bullard.
Survivors include her daughter & son in law, Rhonda & Kenny Griffin of Baxley; Son & daughter in law, Danny & Rhonda Waters of Baxley; Sisters & brother in law, Doris & Ernest Black of Waycross, Jesse Bullard of Brunswick; Two grandchildren, DeAnn Pryor and Curtis Griffin.
Funeral service will be held Sunday, July 19, 2015 at 4:00 P.M. from Hopewell United Methodist Church with Rev. Creig Smith, Rev. Charles Coss & Rev. Mike Lee officiating. Mrs. Waters will lie in state one hour prior to service.
Visitation will be Saturday evening 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. at Swain Funeral Home.
Interment will follow in Mt. Vernon Baptist Church Cemetery.
Active pallbearers will be Carol Waters, David McQuaig, Donnie Black, Richard Waters, Michael Haney and Michael Waters.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Twin Oaks Convalescent Center staff, members of Hopewell United Methodist Church and Oak Hill Free will Baptist Church.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Swain Funeral Home.
