Arlie Randall "Coonears" Griffin

Arlie Randall “Coonears” Griffin, age 65, of Eastman passed away Saturday, December 7, 2024 in Macon.

Mr. Griffin was born February 14, 1959 in Bacon County to the late William Arlie Griffin and the late Helen Lois Dixon Griffin. He was a maintenance supervisor at Flint River Services and was a hard worker. Mr. Griffin was a family man who loved life and being outdoors, especially 4-wheeler riding. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by siblings, Arlene Griffin, Edward Griffin, Daniel Griffin, Jimmy Griffin, Samuel Griffin, Varon Griffin, Billy Griffin, Steve Griffin, Lois Griffin, and Elizabeth Griffin. 

He is survived by his daughter, Jessica (Harold) Hughes of Eastman; sons, Brent Griffin and Jeremy Griffin both of Hazlehurst; sister, Emily Toler of Hazlehurst; brother, Cecil Griffin of Hazlehurst; and grandchildren, Randall Jeffcoat, Marcus Jeffcoat, Michael Jeffcoat and Sebastian Spear also survive. 

Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 12, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. from the Chapel of Swain Funeral Home with Rev. Jinker Horton officiating.

A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Swain Funeral Home.
