Barbara "Bobbie" Fennell

Barbara "Bobbie" Fennell, age 84 of Baxley died Friday, October 18, 2013 at her residence.
Mrs. Fennell was born March 4, 1929 in Appling County and was the daughter of the late George Wilson Moody and the late Lillie Mae Mercer Moody. She was also preceded in death by her husband Ezra Fennell one brother - Gene Moody and two sisters - Josephine Carter Branch and Annie Ruth Howard. Mrs. Fennell was a seamstress for Douglas and Harper and was a member of Asbury United Methodist Church. She was a lifelong resident of Appling County.
Survivors include her daughter, JoAnne Switzer of Baxley; two sons James (Louise) Fennell of Hawkinsville and David (Susan) Fennell of Baxley; one brother Edwin Moody of Baxley. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, October 20th at 3:00PM in the Chapel of Swain Funeral Home with Rev. Ben DeFore.
Interment will follow in Moody Cemetery.
Visitation will be Saturday, 6-8PM, at Swain Funeral Home.
