Billy Warren Miles

Billy Warren Miles, age 80, of Waycross passed away Sunday, April 10, 2022 at Memorial Health Satilla.

Mr. Miles was born May 19, 1941 in Appling County to the late Lee Miles and the late Mamie Perdue Miles. He was a member of Ten Mile Creek Baptist Church and was a member of the Baxley Jaycees, Lion’s Club, Salisbury Moose Lodge and the Optimist Club.  He was the former owner of High Rock Mobile Homes for 45 years and was a veteran of the United States Air Force. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Martha Bivens and Christine Mock and his brother, Frank Miles.

Survivors include his loving wife of 58 years, Sandra Cain Miles; daughter, Elana Miles of Kannopolis, NC; sons, Mark Miles (Vicky Harrell) of Waycross and Scott Miles of Kannapolis, NC; brother, Philip Miles of Baxley; grandchildren, Natasha (Daniel) Jowers and Tiffany Marshall both of Waycross; great grandchildren, Raelynn Jowers and Christopher Brown.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 14, 2022 at 3:00 p.m. from the Chapel of Swain Funeral Home with Rev. Tommy Daniels officiating. Interment will follow in Omega Cemetery.

Active pallbearers will be nephews, Eddie Miles, Blake Cain, Brandon Hayes, Keith Hayes, Billy Harrison and Cain Smith.

Visitation will be Wednesday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Swain Funeral Home.

Remembrances will be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105-9959.
