Cara Michelle Rivera, age 32, of Baxley died Thursday, May 14, 2015 at Memorial Health University Medical Center in Savannah.
Mrs. Rivera was born March 26, 1983 in Denver, Colorado. She was co-pastor of Fresh Oil Ministries and the greatest wife & mother. She was a true child of the King! She was preceded in death by her brother, Willie Roberts.
Survivors include her husband, Jose Rivera of Baxley; three daughters, Chelsea Rivera, Princess Rivera, & Juanita Rivera all of Baxley; mother & step-father, Cindy & Paul Charbonneau of Lakeland, FL; father, Richard Buttorff of Winter Haven, FL; sister, Miranda Buttorff of Mulberry, FL; and mother-in-law, Maritza Rosales of Baxley.
Funeral services will be held Monday, May 18, 2015 at 3:00 PM at The Redeemer's Baptist Church with Pastor Jose Rivera & Pastor Mitchell Jones officiating. Interment will follow in Appling Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church.
Active pallbearers: George Hand, Richard Buttorff, Rickey Herrington, Ivey Herrington, Jason O'Berry, Patrick Buttorff, & David Alexander.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Swain Funeral Home to help defray funeral expenses.
