Carroll "Pat" Thomas

Carroll “Pat” Thomas, age 81, of Baxley passed away Friday, June 9, 2023 at Candler Hospital in Savannah.

Mr. Thomas was born January 26, 1942 in Appling County to the late Floyd Thomas and the late Lois Youmans Beasley.  He was veteran of the United States Army. Mr. Thomas was a member of Asbury Church and was a retired Electrician at Local Union 508 IBEW.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Thomas was preceded in death a son, Ricky Thomas, and brother, Earl Thomas.

Survivors include his wife of 63 ½ years, Susie Ansley Thomas of Baxley; daughter, Debra (Tommy) Lawrence of Baxley; sons, Greg (Connie) Thomas and Keith (Pam) Thomas both of Baxley; brother, Gary (Sandy) Thomas of Baxley.  Four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren also survive.

A graveside service will be held Sunday, June 11, 2023 at 3:00 p.m. at Calvary Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Lance McCarty officiating and a eulogy by Richard Scarbrough.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Swain Funeral Home.
