Cheri' Suzon Parrott

Cheri' Suzon Lightsey Parrott, age 60, of Surrency died Tuesday, May 19, 2015.
Mrs. Parrott was born November 30, 1954 in Appling County to the late Hiram Lightsey and the late Loretta Bullard Lightsey. She attended Unity Church of God in Jesup. Mrs. Parrot received her Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from Georgia Tech in 1976. She received her Medical Lab Technician degree in 1999 and a few years later she received her Medical Technologist Degree. She was a loving wife, mother, & grandmother and was very proud of her family.
Survivors include her husband, Steve Parrott of Surrency; Two daughters and sons in law, Amber & Jason Lorenz of Tulsa, OK and Rachel & Jeremiah Daniel of Columbus, MS; Two Sons and a daughter in law, Stephen & Kristy Parrott of Kansas City, KS and Daniel Parrott of Oklahoma City, OK; Four sisters, Elaine Lightsey of Baxley; Cynthia Atkins of Odum, Evon Lightsey of Atlanta, Iris Aspinwall of Odum; Two brothers, Lowell Lightsey and Buncum Lightsey both of Atlanta; 7 grandchildren, Emily Lorenz, Nicholas Lorenz, Megan Lorenz, Jason Daniel, Christopher Daniel, Jordan Beasley and Campbell Parrott.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, May 22, 2015 from the Chapel of Swain Funeral Home with Rev. George Moxley officiating.
Interment will follow in Zion Church of God Cemetery.
Visitation will be one hour prior to funeral service.
Active pallbearers are Michael Spivey, Brookie Carter, Barry Branch, Chad Bullard, Jason Lorenz and Jeremiah Daniel.
