Christine Ellen Darsey

Christine Ellen Darsey, age 82, of Baxley died Thursday, October 30, 2014.

Mrs. Darsey was born November 19,1931 in Wayne County to the late Charlie Anderson Williams and the late Ellen Tyre Williams. She was a member of Harvest Temple Church of God. Mrs. Darsey retired from the B & F Restaurant as a Waitress for many years. She was preceded in death by a son, Andy Metts.

Survivors include her four daughters, Nancy Tyre, Bunny Metts, Jeannie Moody and Nelda Fennell all of Baxley. Five grandchildren & 6 great-great grandchildren also survive.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, November 2, 2014 at 2:00 P.M. from the Chapel of Swain Funeral Home with the Rev. Earl Wiggins officiating.

Interment will follow in Antioch Congregational Christian Church Cemetery.

Active pallbearers are Benjie Tyre, Tyler Taylor, John Fennell, John Pearson, Edsel Moody & Randall "Rat" Kersey.

Honorary Pallbearers are Pavilion Nurses & Staff, Comfort Care Hospice, Sherry Spell, Amy Hunter and all friends in attendance.

Visitation will be held Satuarday evening 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. at Swain Funeral Home.

Family will assemble at the home of Jeannie & Edsel Moody at 580 Orange Street.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Swain Funeral Home.
