Clifford Lee Hardee, age 63, of Baxley passed away in Waycross on Tuesday, August 3, 2021 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
Mr. Hardee was born June 23, 1958 in Orlando, Florida to the late Archie Gerald Hardee and the late JoAnn Sallas Hardee. He was an A.S.E. mechanic for Interstate National Lease and earned numerous mechanic certifications. He was a member and president of Baxley Mini Pullers and involved in all motorsports. He was a former volunteer fireman with the Altamaha Fire Department and taught a small engine class with the Appling County 4-H. Mr. Hardee was preceded in death by his wife, Janice Elizabeth Sellers Hardee and brothers, Clyde Hardee and Gordon Hardee.
Survivors include his daughters & son in law, Nicole Hardee of Dublin & Jessie & Dillon Bass of Baxley; son & daughter in law, Nicholas & Miranda Hardee of Baxley; sister & brother in law, Jody & Mike McDaniel of Baxley; brother & sister in law, Gary & Paulette Hardee of Ocala, Florida. Eight grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, August 10, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. from the Chapel of Swain Funeral Home with Rev. Alan Stalvey & Rev. Darrell Johnson officiating.
Interment will follow in Melton’s Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery.

Visitation will be Monday evening, from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m., at Swain Funeral Home.
Remembrances may be made to the New Beginnings Recovery Home (2291 Claxton Dairy Rd. Dublin, GA 31021).
Due to Covid-19, all attendees are asked to please follow the rules of social distancing and face masks are recommended at the service. Also, anyone that does not feel comfortable with attending the service, the family would like you to know they understand and covet your prayers.
