Colleen Carter, age 69, passed away Tuesday, October 13, 2015.
She was born June 30, 1946 in Appling County to the late Joe Reynolds and the late Geneva Nash Crosby. She was a member of Graham Baptist Church. Mrs. Carter was preceded in death by her husbands, Benny Carter and James V. Goodwin.
Survivors include her daughter & son in law, Connie & Randall Brooks of Dublin; Son & daughter in law, Benny Michael & Leigh Carter of Rincon; granddaughters, Ashleigh & Madison Carter of Rincon; Two sisters, Anita Gladin & Helen Simmons both of Baxley; Two nieces, April Simmons and Brittany Toler both of Baxley.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, October 15, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. from the Chapel of Swain Funeral Home with Rev. Jinker Horton & Terry Miles officiating.
Interment will be in Baxley Graveyard Cemetery.
Active pallbearers are Perry Toler, Chad Toler, Chris Stone, Matthew Stone, Chris Rowell and Derek Tillman.
Honorary pallbearers are all friends & family in attendance.
Visitation will be Wednesday evening 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Swain Funeral Home.
Funeral arrangements were under the direction of Swain Funeral Home.
