Dale Davis

Dale Davis, age 66, of Baxley died Wednesday, January 13, 2021 at Appling Healthcare System.

Mr. Davis was born October 5, 1954 to the late Elvin Lawson Davis and the late Mary Emma Carter Davis.  He was a member of Riverside Baptist Church and was an Iron Worker with Local Union 709.  Mr. Davis was preceded in death by his brothers, E. J. Davis, Donald Davis and Ronald Davis.

Survivors include his special companion, Evelyn Pfau of Baxley; step daughter, Kim Pfau & her fiancé, Jamie Sapp of Baxley; sisters & brothers in law, Brenda & Jamie Johnson and Linda & Lee Jones all of Baxley; brothers & sisters in law, Jerry & Regina Davis, Stanley & Taffy Davis, and Jimmy Davis all of Baxley; sisters in law, Jane Davis and Doris Davis both of Baxley. Grandchildren, Macy Griffin and Dylan Nadeau; and one great grandchild, Kyson Griffin also survived.

Funeral services will be held Friday, January 15, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Riverside Baptist Church with Rev. Justin McLellan and Elder Jerry Lightsey officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

Active pallbearers will be Jeffery Davis, Chris Jones, Marcus Davis, Blake Davis, Wren Johnson and Dylan Nadeau.

Visitation will be one hour prior to the funeral service at Riverside Baptist Church.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Swain Funeral Home.
