Delinda Medders

Delinda Medders, age 68, passed away Monday, March 30, 2015.
She was born August 8, 1946 In Appling County to the late Hugh Dorsey Medders and the late Darthy Mae Teston Medders and was a member of Church of God of Prophecy. Mrs. Medders was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Roger Wood, brother, Franklin Dennis Medders, two sisters, Wanda Medders and Retha Ann Dixon.
Survivors include a Daughter & Son in law, Dedra Mae & Jerry Hewett of Baxley; 2 sons, Roger Dale Wood of Hazlehurst and Donald Eugene Wood of Florida; 2 Brothers & sisters in law, Royce & Joy Medders of West Point and Glenn & Kathy Medders of Rincon; 3 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, April 3, 2015 from the Chapel of Swain Funeral Home with Rev. Irtis Carswell officiating.
Interment will follow in Omega Cemetery.
Active pallbearers will be family members.
Honorary Pallbearers will be the Staff of Spanish Oaks Hospice.
Visitation will be Thursday evening 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. at Swain Funeral Home.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Swain Funeral Home.
