Elizabeth (Betty) Vallier
March 24, 1922-August 25, 2014
Born in Sarnia, Ontario Canada, a longtime resident of Orlando, Florida and made her home in Baxley, Georgia since 1983.
She was preceded in death by husband, James and twin sons, Jim and Warren. She is survived by two sons, Dan of Orland, Florida and Mark of Baxley,Georgia. Also surviving are ten grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren.
During her career as an executive with Avon, Inc. she was named to the "Circle of Excellence" honoring the firms' district managers.
In the 1960's she was a member of the singing trio known in Orlando as the "Trebles". The Baxley News Banner occasionally published her poems. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Baxley where she was active in the Friendship Sunday School Class.
Special tribute was offered by granddaughter, Erin Brooks whose solos were accompanied by daughter in law, Beverly Vallier.
She was a devoted wife, loving mother and faithful Christian. She will be missed by many.
The Memorial service will be held from the First United Methodist Church in Baxley, Georgia on October 13, 2014 at 11:00 AM with the Rev. Steve Maguire officiating.
In lieu of flowers remembrances may be made in her honor to First United Methodist Church, 217 South Main Street, Baxley, GA 31513.
