Felton Nathaniel Everett

Felton Nathaniel Everett, age 60, of Baxley died Tuesday, March 1, 2022 at Baptist Health Medical Center in Jacksonville, Florida.

Mr. Everett was born July 3, 1961 in Bacon County and was a retired log truck driver for Wallace Carter & Sons’ Logging.  He was a member of Spring Branch Baptist Church and a former member of the National Guard. He was preceded in death by his father, Sam Everett and father-in-law, Wallace Carter. Mr. Everett was an avid hunter and trapper.

Survivors include his wife, Vickie Everett of Baxley; daughter, Serena Everett and her fiancé, Andy Harrelson, of Baxley; mother, Myrtice Everett of Athens, AL; and sister, Elaine (Larry) McCord of Athens, AL; mother-in-law, Bonnie Carter of Baxley; grandchildren, Harmony Johnson and Adaline Harrelson; and several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 5, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. from the Chapel of Swain Funeral Home with Rev. Bryan Gill and Rev. David Barber officiating and a eulogy will be rendered by Steve Craven. Interment will follow in Carter Cemetery.

Active pallbearers will be Robert Bush, Chip Carter, Steve Steedley, Kevin Crews, Steve Craven and Dusty Dishroon.

Visitation will be Friday, March 4, 2022 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Swain Funeral Home.
