Flora Mae Hutchinson

Flora Mae Hutchinson, age 87, of Baxley, died, December 25, 2014.

Mrs. Hutchinson was born September 22, 1927 in Appling County to the late Marc Lee King and the late Emma Lou Barnes King. She was a member of Spring Branch Missionary Baptist Church. Mrs. Hutchinson was a retired seamstress for Manhattan Shirt Company. She was preceded in death by a son, Johnny Hutchinson.

Survivors include her husband, Way Hutchinson of Baxley; Daughter, Clara Vickers of Baxley; Son, Wadis Hutchinson of Baxley; Four sisters, Emma Lee Stone, Rhoda Roberson, Eleanor Strickland & Faye Griffin all of Baxley; Two brothers, Tommy King & Marc Lee King, Jr. both of Baxley; Four grandchildren, Chris Hutchinson, Jayme Hutchinson, Del Burns, James Burns, seven great grandchildren, Dustin Hutchinson, Hope Hutchinson, Haven Hutchinson, William Causey, Ethan Burns, Collins Burns & Nicole Burns and several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, December 28, 2014 at 2:00 P.M. from Spring Branch Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Bobby Brinkley, Rev. Chip Woodruff, Rev. Tommy Daniels, Rev. Rick Brown, Rev. Robert Wigley, Rev. Bryan Gill, Rev. Terry Reagan & Rev. Ronald Wilcox officiating.

Interment will follow in Omega Cemetery.

Active Pallbearers will be Bub Moody, Toby Claxton, Wendell Carter, Henry Branch, Ray Boatright & Wayne Bruce.

Honorary Pallbearers will be nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Saturday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. at Swain Funeral Home.

Arrangements are under the direction of Swain Funeral Home.
