Florrie Prescott Sellers

Florrie Prescott Sellers, age 87, of Hazlehurst died Tuesday, June 21, 2016 at her residence.

Mrs. Sellers was born May 4, 1929 in Appling County to the late Lemauel and Annie Sapp Prescott. She was a member of Oak View Baptist Church. Mrs. Sellers was employed by the Bank of Hazlehurst for 43 years, was a devoted wife for 60 years and a loving nanny.

Survivors include her husband, James Edward "Jim" Sellers of Hazlehurst; daughter, Kathy Sellers of Hazlehurst; grandson, Jimmy and Anna Harrell of Baxley; granddaughter, Joni Harrell and fiancAC. Jason Rushing of Baxley; great grandchildren, Ansley, Aubrey, Jacilyn, Jaymi, Amber and Johanna; several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be held Friday, June 24, at 11:00 AM from the chapel of Swain Funeral Home. Rev. David Barber and Rev. Keith Yawn will officiate.

Interment will follow in the Oak View Baptist Church Cemetery.

Visitation will be Thursday evening from 6 until 8 PM at Swain Funeral Home.

Active pallbearers are Jay Jones, Kenny Jones, Mike Sellers, Alvin Tuten, Dewight Griffis and Travis Coffman.
