Fred Douglas "Frog" Rhodes, Jr., age 74, of Baxley died Monday, November 2, 2015 in the Appling Healthcare System.
Mr. Rhodes was born March 9, 1941 in Raleigh, North Carolina to the late Fred Douglas Rhodes, Sr. and the late Magdalene Hollifield Rhodes. He was a retired truck driver and a member of Liberty Faith Holiness Church. He was a passionate family man who was full of life and laughter, an avid fisherman, and a Harley-Davidson enthusiast.
Mr. Rhodes is survived by his wife, Vickie Rhodes of Baxley; daughter, Kathy Buchanan of Holly Springs, NC; son, Mark Rhodes of Willow Spring, NC; brother, Joseph Rhodes of Willow Spring, NC; five grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren.
