Gary George COLLINS, age 70, of Baxley Georgia died Saturday, May 3, 2014 at his residence.
Mr. Collins was born October 19, 1943 in Bacon County. He was a veteran of the United States Navy and retired from Independent Life Insurance Company. Mr. Collins was preceded in death by his father, Charlie Collins.
Survivors include his wife, Emma Jean Collins of Baxley; Mother, Helen Walters Kennedy of Baxley; Sister, Lark McIntosh of Anderson, South Carolina; Brother, Joey Collins of Baxley. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Graveside services will be held Tuesday, May 6, at 11:00 AM from Crosby Chapel Methodist Church Cemetery with Rev. Buddy Coss & Rev. Chris Nail officiating.
Active pallbearers are Stanley Norris, Gary Norris, Jody Collins, Reid Collins, Stacy Culbreath & Neil Phillips.
Honorary pallbearers are all friends in attendance.
Visitation will be Monday evening, May 5th from 6 until 8 PM at Swain Funeral Home.
The family will receive friends at the home on 1499 Nail Rd.
