Gary Allen Ryals, Jr.

Gary Allen “Bubba” Ryals, Jr., age 19, of Hazlehurst passed away Monday, March 10, 2025 at Jeff Davis Hospital.

Bubba was born December 20, 2005 in Appling County and was a concrete finisher and enjoyed working with Shaun White Concrete. He also enjoyed bull riding and was an avid outdoorsman who loved his chickens and dogs, but his greatest joy was spending time with his sons. Bubba was preceded in death by his father, Gary Allen Ryals, Sr, grandparents, Teresa Wooten, Patricia Lynn, Gary D. Ryals; and stepson, Braylynn “Fat Man” Brantley.

Survivors include his fiancé, Tori Brantley of Hazlehurst; sons, Braxton Ryals and Colton Ryals of Hazlehurst; mother, Renee Ryals of Hazlehurst; sisters, Kylee Ryals of Hazlehurst and Kassidy Ryals and Kayla Ryals both of Baxley; grandfathers, Don Wooten and Henry Lynn also survive.

Funeral services will be held Monday, March 17, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. from the Chapel of Swain Funeral Home with Rev. Gary Horton and Rev. Ken Garrett officiating. Interment will follow in Hazlehurst Memorial Cemetery.

Active pallbearers are Michael White, Axel White, Dakota Gribble, Joseph Wooten, Wesley Wooten, Vernon Dasher and T.J. Kelly.

The visitation will be one hour prior to the service.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Swain Funeral Home.
