Georgia Maria Branch

Georgia Maria Branch, age 66, of Baxley died Tuesday, January 12, 2021 at the Pavilion under the care of Comfort Care Hospice.

Ms. Branch was born December 31, 1954 in Baxley to the late Kenneth Wilson Mock and the late Jacquelyn Carter Mock. Before retirement, she was an LPN at Appling Healthcare and Appling Family Pediatric. She was also a member of Woodman of the World and Ladies Auxiliary of VFW.

Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Melanie & Thomas Russell of Rincon and Melissa & Stacy Teston of Baxley; siblings, Keith (Edith) Mock, Frances Moye, Diane Lindsey, Mary Jane Brumley, Eddie Ross, and Robert Ross; grandchildren, Kelli (Perry) Vallance, Colby Pearce, Abbie (Nathan) Crager, Zachary Russell, and Ken Teston; and one great grandchild, Barrett Vallance. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

A graveside service will be held Saturday, January 16, 2021 at 3:00 p.m. at Midway Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Ronnie Rentz officiating.

Active pallbearers will be Noel Herrington, Wesley Covington, Larry Hughes, Timmy Lott, Colby Pearce, Ken Teston, and Adam Gruber.

Honorary pallbearers will be the Class of 1972 of Appling County High School and all friends in attendance.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Swain Funeral Home.
