Jackie Dewayne Yeomans

Jackie Dewayne Yeomans, age 64, of Baxley passed away Tuesday, February 14, 2023 at Wayne Memorial Hospital in Jesup.

Mr. Yeomans was born on June 22, 1958 in Appling County.  He attended Woodlawn Baptist Church and was a gunsmith and the owner of Yeomans Arms Company.  Mr. Yeomans loved to fly fish and was a 3rd degree Black Belt in Karate.  He was a devoted & loving son, husband, and father.

Survivors include his wife, Linda Yeomans of Baxley; a son, John Ross Yeomans of Statesboro; parents, Jackie B. & Christine Yeomans of Baxley; mother-in-law, Vivian Rentz of Graham; sisters-in-law, Diane Stone and Brenda (Ronnie) Branch; brother-in-law, Glynn (Jackie) Rentz; and a lifelong friend, Jeff Herrington.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, February 16, 2023 at 4:00 pm from the Chapel of Swain Funeral Home with Rev. Tommy Daniels and Rev. Rick Brown officiating.  Interment will follow in Omega Cemetery.

Active pallbearers will be Scotty Stone, Greg Teston, Travis Gold, Cody Branch, Garrett Anderson and Del Ray.

Honorary pallbearers will be all friends in attendance and members of Woodlawn Baptist Church.

Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at Swain Funeral Home.

Remembrances may be made to the charity of choice.
