James Allen Bohannon

James Allen Bohannon, age 56, of Hazlehurst died Tuesday, December 13, 2022 at his residence.

Mr. Bohannon was born October 24, 1966 in Appling County.  He was a member of Zoar Baptist Church and was a self employed truck driver.  He was also an avid hunter and fisherman.  He was preceded in death by his father, Willie Odis “Billy” Bohannon.

Survivors include his daughters, Dorianne Bohannon (Adam) Smith of Uvalda and Suzanne Dixon (Aaron) Edwards of West Virginia;  sons, Ryan Allen(Courtney) Bohannon of Reidsville and Chris (Barbara) Tyner of Statesboro;  mother and father, Lerlene & Albert Coleman of Hazlehurst; sister, Linda (Ricky) Clark of Hazlehurst;  brothers,  David (Mellissa) Bohannon of Nichols and Will (Bethanie) Hulette of Hazlehurst.   Eight grandchildren, Carson, Carmen, Landon, Aiden, Jace, Gavin, Kaiden and Layla also survive.

Graveside Services will be held at Zoar Cemetery on Saturday, December 17, 2022 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Jinker Horton officiating.

Pallbearers will be David Bohannon, Tim Partin, Randy Partin, Levi Hutcheson, Chris Tyner, and Ricky Clark.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Swain Funeral Home.
