James Robert Dixon

James Robert Dixon, age 73, of Surrency died Monday, April 20, 2015.
Mr. Dixon was born May 21, 1941 in Bristol, Georgia to the late Melvin Alex Dixon, Sr. and the late Mary Lou Pope Dixon. He was a member of Piney Grove Free Will Baptist Church and was preceded in death by a brother, M.A. Dixon, Jr., sister in law, Wanda Dixon and a brother in law, William J. Holley.
Survivors include his three sisters & brothers in law, Dot & John Elbert Tillman of Surrency, Sue Nell Holley of Baxley and Faye & Wayne Doke of Brunswick; Brother, Charles H. Dixon of Bristol; Sister in law, Esther Dixon of Bristol.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 22, 2015 at Piney Grove Free Will Baptist Church with Rev. Carlton Rowell officiating
Active pallbearers are Kelly Chancey, Randy Dixon, Jeff Doke, Wayne Doke, Anthony Tillman and Alex Dixon III.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Swain Funeral Home.
