James Randall Griffin

James Randall Griffin, age 61, of Baxley passed away Wednesday, March 5, 2025 at Jeff Davis Hospital from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

Randall was born May 15, 1963 in Jeff Davis County to the late James Richard Griffin and the late Lucille Rollins Griffin. He enjoyed being a truck driver and was employed with the Jeff Davis County Road Department.

Survivors include his sister, Becky Griffin of Baxley, several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 8, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. at Friendship Congregational Christian Church with Rev. David Griffin officiating. Interment will follow in Baxley Graveyard.

Active pallbearers will be Shane Crummey, Terry Rollins, Larry Rollins, K.C. Griffin, Donnie Smiley and Clint Herrington.

Honorary pallbearers will be the employees of the Jeff Davis County Road Department.

Visitation will be one hour prior to the funeral service. 

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Swain Funeral Home.
