James E. "Jim" Sellers

James E. "Jim" Sellers, age 84, of Hazlehurst died Monday, December 26, 2016 at his residence.

Mr. Sellers was born in Sparr, Florida to the late Ernest Edward Sellers and the late Nina Swain Sellers. He was a member of Oak View Baptist Church. Mr. Sellers was retired co-owner of Sellers Brother's Dairy Farms and was a heavy equipment operator and truck driver. He was preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Florrie Prescott Sellers and a brother, Ernest Swain Sellers.

Survivors include his daughter, Kathy Sellers of Hazlehurst; sister, Nina Claire Reese of Elizabeth Town, PA; grandson, Jimmy and Anna Harrell of Baxley; granddaughter, Joni Harrell and fiancAC. Jason Rushing of Baxley; great grandchildren, Amber, Ansley, Aubrey, Jacilyn, Jaymi, and Johanna; several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 29, at 3:00 PM from Oak View Baptist Church with Rev. Keith Yawn and Rev. David Barber officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to funeral service.

Interment will follow in Oak View Baptist Church Cemetery.

Active pallbearers are Danny Butts, Dewight Griffis, Jay Jones, Lewis Sellers, Mike Sellers and Alvin Tuten.
