James Willie Varnadore

James Willie Varnadore, age 85, of Dublin died Saturday, September 14, 2013 at Serenity Place Hospice in Dubin.
Mr. Varnadore was born January 8, 1928 in Appling Co. and was the son of the late Homer Green Varnadore & the late Daisy Mae McDaniel Varnadore. He was a Dryer Belt Operator with Monsanto Chemical and was a member of The Baxley Church of God of Prophecy.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, September 17, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Swain Funeral Home with Pastor John R. Hutto & Mr. Ezra Varnadore officiating. Interment will follow in Omega Cemetery.
Visitation will be Monday, 6-8 p.m., at Swain Funeral Home.
Survivors include his daughters, Linda (Peter) Thornton of Brony, NY, Dianne Arthur and Stacy Johnson of Baxley, Judy (Raymond) Gault of Dublin, & Cathy (Chuck) Kight of Sylvania; son, Jerry Varnadore of Baxley; sisters, Opal Gray of Crete, IL & Ettie Mae Vaughn of Baxley; brothers, Lonnie Varnadore & Ezra Varnadore both of Baxley & Dolvin Varnadore of Grant Park, IL; 14 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren; and a host of nieces & nephews.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Swain Funeral Home.
