James Patrick "Jamie" Sapp

March 17, 1976 — January 27, 2022

James Patrick “Jamie” Sapp, age 45, of Baxley passed away Thursday, January 27, 2022 at the Appling Healthcare.

Jamie was born March 17, 1976 in Appling County. He was a member of Ten Mile Creek Baptist Church and was a welder. He was preceded in death by his mother, Margaret Helen Padgett Sapp and sister, Margaret Renea Sapp.

Survivors include his fiancé, Kim Pfau of Baxley; children, Jared Sapp, Wes Sapp, and Joey Jenkins all of Tollesboro, KY, Dylan Nadeau and Macy Griffin both of Baxley; father, Ray Sapp of Baxley; brother, Curtis Sapp of Blackshear; a grandchild, Kyson Griffin of Baxley; niece, Lilly Herrington and nephews, C.J. Mincey, Dustin Mincey and several aunts, uncles and cousins also survive.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, January 30, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. from the Chapel of Swain Funeral Home with Rev. Tommy Daniels and Bishop Randy Sellers officiating.

Interment will follow in Ten Mile Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Greg Williams, Stacey Teston, Wesley Horne, Dylan Nadeau, Willy Nix, and Jeff Flowers.

Visitation will be Saturday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Swain Funeral Home.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Swain Funeral Home.
