Jan Hallman

Jan Evans Hallman, age 67, of Baxley passed away Friday, November 1, 2024 at Pruitt Health in Moultrie. 

Mrs. Hallman was born September 7, 1957 in Appling County to the late Clinton Wright Evans and the late Virginia Lord Evans. She was a truck driver for HMH Transportation and Premier Transportation. She was also a homemaker, baker and cake decorator. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who loved her family unconditionally and they were her whole life. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dane Hallman and brothers, Jerry Evans and Mickey Evans. 

Survivors include her daughter, Dana (Bradley) Branch; son, Damon Chuck Hallman; grandchildren, Cody Hallman, Brooke Hallman, Tyler Crews, Zander Branch, and Fayth Thomas; great grandchildren, Tucker Hallman, Brynlei Hallman, Tannic Hallman, Preslee Mikell, and Tate Roberson; sister, Judy (Kenny) Folk; brothers, J. B. Evans, Malcolm (Sherry) Evans, Larry (Deloris) Evans, and Terry (Tonya) Evans; several nieces and nephews also survive.

A graveside memorial service will be held Thursday, November 7, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at Riverside Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Justin McLellan officiating.
