Jerry Holt Williams, age 69, of Baxley died Sunday, June 26, 2016 at the Appling HealthCare System.
Mr. Williams was born February 12, 1947 in Appling County to the late James Arthur & Lois Arnold Williams. He was a member of Spring Branch Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his first wife and mother of his children, Glenda Williams, brother, James "Buddy" Williams and sister, Doris Branch.
Survivors include his wife, Elaine Williams of Baxley; daughter, Kim (Michael) Willoughby of Baxley; son Kevin (Denne) Williams of Clarkesville; sisters, Lucille White of Baxley and Patricia Smith of Waynesboro; grandchildren, Amber Swain, Brianna Willoughby and Devyn Shayne Williams, great grandchildren, Ryker Kersey, Dax Swain and Reece Norris.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, at 2:00 PM from Spring Branch Baptist Church. Rev. Bryan Gill, Rev. Justin McLellan and Stewart Reeves will officiate . The body will lie in state at the church one hour prior to the funeral service.
Interment will follow in Omega Cemetery.
Active pallbearers are Jeffrey White, Jim Swain, Glenn Dukes, Michael Willoughby, Pete Arnold, Tommy Youmans and Shane Youmans.
Honorary pallbearers are the Senior Class of 1965 and all family and friends in attendance.
Visitation will be Tuesday evening from 6 until 8 PM at Swain Funeral Home.
Arrangements are under the direction of Swain Funeral Home.
