Joey Boyette

Joey Boyette, age 53, of Bristol passed away Wednesday, February 17, 2021 at his residence under the care of Hospice of Satilla.

Mr. Boyette was born June 13, 1967 in Waycross and was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church.  He was a farmer and co-owner of Boyette Farms. He was preceded in death by his mother, Linda Crosby Boyette.

Survivors include his wife, Tarra P. Boyette of Bristol; daughter & son in law, Linda Taryn & Matthew Poss of Augusta; son & daughter in law, Joseph Weston & Alissa Boyette of Bristol; father, J.W. Boyette of Bristol; brother, Mark Boyette of Bristol; and granddaughter, Briella Jewell Boyette. Several aunts, uncles, and other family members also survive.

Funeral services will be held Friday, February 19, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Emmanuel Baptist Church with Rev. Mike Stone, Rev. Richard Golden, Rev. Lynn Harris, Rev. Rick Brown and Mr. Jacob Bell officiating. Interment will follow in Piney Grove Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery.

Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at Emmanuel Baptist Church.
