Joey Keith Jacobs

Joey Keith Jacobs, age 52, passed away Wednesday, December 18, 2024. 

Joey was born May 13, 1972 in Appling County. He was an avid outdoorsman; he loved target sports and fishing. He worked as a millwright with Local 1263. He was preceded in death by his father, Jesse Jacobs, Jr. 

Survivors include his daughter, Ashley (Leland) Thompson of Valdosta; mother, Jeanette Carter Jacobs of Baxley; sister, Jana Jacobs of Waycross; brother, Jody (Lauri) Jacobs of Baxley; grandchildren, Hudson Thompson and Jesse Thompson; and a nephew, Jasper Jacobs and niece, Logan (Colby) Tillman also survive. 

Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 21, 2024 at 3:00 PM in the Chapel of Swain Funeral Home with Pastor Darron Jackson and Rev. Bryan Gill officiating. Interment will follow in Jacobs Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Jasper Jacobs, Jody Jacobs, Rodney Griffin, Lorenzo Grady, Eugene Stone, and Toby Claxton.
