Joseph M. “Joe” Nunn, age 69, of Baxley passed away Saturday, April 1, 2017 at the Appling Healthcare System.
Mr. Nunn was born December 25, 1947 in Gadsden, AL. He was a veteran of the United States Army and was employed by Hunter Johnson Lumber Company. Joe was a member of Spring Branch Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Susan Nunn.
Survivors include his wife, Sandy Nunn of Baxley; daughters, Amy Turner of Baxley & Connie Houston of Leesburg; mother and stepfather, Ruth and Bobby Engle of Boaz, Al; sisters, Anita Keener, Sandra Lipscomb, Lila Brothers & Peggy Bridges; brothers, Paul Keener, Bill Keener & Glenn Kenner all of Alabama; 3 grandchildren also survive.
Funeral services will be held Monday, April 3, at 3:00 PM at Spring Branch Baptist Church.
Rev. Bryan Gill will officiate.
Burial will follow at a later date.
Active pallbearers are Dustin Clements, Chris Clements, John “Choo Choo” Griffin, Smokey Williams, Wayne Williams & Jeff Williams, Jr.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the funeral service at the church.
