Joyce Faye Beecher

Joyce Faye Beecher, age 69, died Tuesday, December 30, 2014 in Twin Oaks Convalescent Center.
Mrs. Beecher was born September 16, 1945 in Appling County to the late John Henry Stallings and the late Emma Mae Thornton Stallings. She attended Zion Church of God. Mrs. Beecher was a retired seamstress.
Survivors include her daughter & son in law, Dale & Steve Chambers of Uvalda; A son & daughter in law, Sam & Betsy Beckworth of Baxley; 2 sisters, Shirley Ely of Jacksonville, Florida and Jenean Metters of Nichols; A special friend, Harold Beckworth; 4 brothers, Dan "Doc" Stallings of Yulee, Florida, Cordel Hull Stallings, Curtis Henry "Bubba" Stallings both of Baxley and Harry Eugene "Billy" Stallings of Alma; 4 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren also survive.
Funeral services will be Friday, January 2, 2015 at 2:00 P.M. from the Chapel of Swain Funeral Home with Rev. Steve Statum and Rev. Freddy Peacock officiating.
Interment will follow in Beckworth Cemetery.
Active Pallbearers are Jerome Crapps, Freddy Stallings, Ron Ely, Michael Stallings, Stacy Medders and Sam Beckworth.
Honorary Pallbearers will be the staff of Twin Oaks Convalescent Center.
Visitation will be Thursday evening 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. at Swain Funeral Home.
Arrangements are under the direction of Swain Funeral Home.
