June K. Garner, age 65, of Baxley died Sunday, June 15, 2014 at her residence under the care of Community Hospice.
Mrs. Garner was born January 13, 1949 in Harriman, Tennessee. She was a cook and a member of Friendship Congregational Christian Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer K. Garner; her parents, Jack Kaisor, Essie Mae Manis Brackett & Skeeter Brackett; a daughter, Tammy Thompson; a sister, Unie Watson; & a grandson, Phillip Lyons, Jr.
Survivors include her daughters, Melissa Williams & Susan Harris both of Baxley; son, James Thompson of Baxley; sisters, Mary Waley, Bobbie Faulk, & Martha Ann Hicks all of Harriman, Tennessee; twelve grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Friday, at 2:00 P.M. from the Chapel of Swain Funeral Home with Rev. James Walsh officiating.
Interment will follow in Baxley Graveyard.
Active pallbearers: James Thompson, Jimmy Thompson, Jordan Harris, Chuck Smith, Chris Norman & Richard Hobby.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the funeral service.
