Kathleen (Bowen) Bullard

Kathleen Bullard, age 86, of Baxley, who passed away Wednesday, December 29, 2021 at her residence under the care of Comfort Care Hospice.

Mrs. Bullard was born on November 25, 1935 in Appling County to the late LeRoy Bowen and the late Vivian Elizabeth Ahl Bowen.  She was a member of Red Oak Baptist Church and was retired from Wells Fargo Banks as a Financial Officer.

She is survived by her husband of 68 years, William Edsel Bullard of Baxley; daughter, Teresa Sheila Murphy of Ponte Vedra Beach, FL; son, William Neal Bullard of Middleburg, FL; sisters, Reda Bowen Taylor of Waycross, Colleen Bowen Davis of Baxley and Faye Bowen Gray of Jacksonville, FL; brother, Truman Bowen of Baxley. Three grandchildren, Gabriel, Lexi, and Zac  also survive.

Funeral services will be held Monday, January 3, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. from the Chapel of Swain Funeral Home with Rev. Ron Ross and Rev. Robbie Gill officiating. Interment will follow in the Red Oak Baptist Church Cemetery.

Active pallbearers will be Corbett Bowen, Hollis Bullard, Roger Mincey, James Gray, Mike Kistner, Corey Taylor and Jason Bowen.

Honorary pallbearers will be Wendell Bullard, Brady Lynch, Lamar Deen, Paul Deason, Curtis Taylor, Ralph Waters, Truman Bowen, Dale Lynch, Aubrey Lynch, Rodney Williams and Danny Giddens.

Visitation will be Sunday evening 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Swain Funeral Home.
