Kay Hutcheson Harrelson

June 18, 1955 — June 21, 2016

Kay Hutcheson Harrelson, age 61, of Baxley died Tuesday, June 21, 2016 at Candler Hospital in Savannah.

Mrs. Harrelson was born June 18, 1955 in Appling County to the late Charles Edwin Hutcheson, Sr. and the late Julee Groover Hutcheson. She was a member of Woodlawn Baptist Church. Mrs. Harrelson was preceded in death by a sister, Carol Anita Hutcheson.

Survivors include her husband of 41 years, Paul Harrelson of Baxley; three sons and daughters in law, Randy & Dawn Harrelson, Andy & Serena Harrelson, and Brandon & Myra Harrelson all of Baxley; two sisters, Jill Stallings and Jennifer (Chris) Peck all of Baxley; two brothers, Charles (Diane) Hutcheson and Kenny (Pam) Hutcheson, all of Baxley; six grandchildren, Dawson, Taylor, Abby, Alli, Alex Harrelson and Harmony Johnson and several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be held Friday, June 24, at 3:00 PM from Woodlawn Baptist Church. The body will lie in state one hour prior to the funeral service.

Rev. Tommy Daniels, Rev. Charles Hutcheson and Rev. Kenny Hutcheson will officiate.

Interment will follow in Zoar Cemetery.

Visitation will be Thursday evening from 6 until 8 PM at Swain Funeral Home.

Active pallbearers are Dawson Harrelson, Jeffery Bullard, Jr. Johnson, Keith Morris, Don Harrelson, Brent Johnson, and Casey Hutcheson.

Honorary pallbearers are members of Woodlawn Baptist Church, members of the Ohoopee Hunting Club, Mildred & Arnold Davis, Peggy Varnadore, Devora Smith, Wendell & Elizabeth Crosby and all family and friends in attendance.

Arrangements are under the direction of Swain Funeral Home.
