Lalen M. Parlor

Lalen M. Parlor, age 95, of Hazlehurst passed away Monday, December 9, 2024 at Memorial Health in Savannah. 

Mrs. Parlor was born February 3, 1929 in Jeff Davis County to the late Daniel David Crawford and the late Bernice Marie Thomas Crawford. She was a member of Oakland Baptist Church and retired from Hazlehurst Mills. She loved her family and was a devoted Christian lady. Mrs. Parlor was preceded in death by her husband, Archie Parlor; sons, Leon Parlor and Jerry Parlor; and a granddaughter, Pam Parlor.

Survivors include her daughter, Wanda Sellers; and grandchildren: SaDonna Willis, Chris Parlor, Jason Leggett, Stacey Leggett, Christy Lautieri, and Josh Parlor. Several great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews also survive. 

Funeral services will be held Friday, December 13, 2024 at 3:00 p.m. at Oakland Baptist Church with Rev. Royce Hulett, Rev. Joey Andrews, and Rev. Lamar Lee officiating. Interment will follow in Oak View Baptist Church Cemetery. 

Active pallbearers will be Caide Leggett, Chris Parlor, Jason Leggett, Stacey Leggett, Jeremy McDaniel and Colby Miller.

A visitation will be held Thursday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Oakland Baptist Church.
