Lamar Hutto, age 58, of Baxley died, Sunday, April 11, 2021 at St. Joseph Hospital in Savannah.
Mr. Hutto was born January 31, 1963 in Appling County to the late Ivey “Buster” Hutto and the late Merlene Elizabeth Barber Hutto. He was a member of First United Pentecostal Church and was the Warranty Administrator at Woody Folsom Ford. Mr. Hutto was a loving husband, father and papa. He was dedicated to his job and he loved life. He was preceded in death by his sisters, Helen Parker, Catherine Griffis and Betty McLeod.
Survivors include his wife, Becky Hutto of Baxley; a daughter, Kendra Hutto of Baxley; sons & daughters- in- law, Keith & Callie Hutto and Kyle & Taylor Hutto all of Baxley; sisters & brothers- in- law, Mildred Fales and Gayle & Spencer Carter both of Baxley, Sue & Jeff Morin of Jacksonville, FL; brothers & sisters- in- law, Sammy & Catherine Hutto of Jesup and Russell & Carrie Hutto of Baxley; parents-in-law, Bobby & Faye Worth of Forsyth. Seven grandchildren also survive.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 14, 2021 at 2:00 pm at the Chapel of Swain Funeral Home with Rev. James Jordan and Rev. Sammy Hutto officiating.
Interment will follow in Friendship Church Cemetery.
Active pallbearers will be K’Leb Merritt, Shane Carter, Matthew Hutto, Rusty Hutto, Josh Griffis, Allan Croft, Joe Eaton, Jr., and Michael Hutto.
Honorary pallbearers will be employees of Woody Folsom Ford and former employees of Sapp Ford Company.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
Remembrances may be made to the First United Pentecostal Church Building Fund.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Swain Funeral Home.
