Leo James Patterson, Jr

Leo James Patterson, Jr., age 63, of Baxley died Tuesday, December 22, 2015 at St. Joseph's Hospital in Savannah.

Mr. Patterson was born August 10, 1952 in Bacon County to the late Leo James Patterson, Sr. and the late Sallie Miles Patterson. He was a member of Riverside Baptist Church. Mr. Patterson was owner and operator of James Patterson Heating Air Conditioning & Plumbing. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Dorothy Wilson, Audrey Tanner and a brother, Dewitt Miles.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Addie Davis Patterson of Baxley; Two daughters, Leticia & Scott Oehlke of Baxley & Lisa Patterson all of Baxley; Two sons, Jamie & Haley Patterson & Herman Patterson all of Baxley; Three sisters, Frances Waters of Alma, Dinah Smith of Baxley & Annie Ruth Gillian of Anniston, AL; Two brothers, Gary Patterson of Baxley and Billy Patterson of New Smyrna, FL; Two grandsons, Nicholas Oehlke, Dominick Oehlke and special friends, Tommy & Debra Youmans.

Funeral services will be Sunday, December 27, 2015 at 3:00 PM at Riverside Baptist Church with Rev. Justin McLellan and Rev. J.E. Blanton officiating. Mr. Patterson will lie in state one hour prior to funeral service.
Interment will follow in the Church Cemetery.

Visitation will be Saturday evening 6:00 until 8:00 PM at Swain Funeral Home.

Active Pallbearers are Lee Jones, Josh Stone, Jamie Johnson, Chad Carver, Keith Davis and Tim Copeland.

Honorary Pallbearers are the adult Sunday school class of Riverside Baptist Church.

Funeral arrangements were under the direction of Swain Funeral Home.
