Lowell Edward White, Jr.

Lowell Edward White, Jr., age 63, of Baxley passed away Thursday, November 7, 2024.

Mr. White was born August 25, 1961 in Telfair County to the late Lowell Edward White, Sr. and the late Lillian Oveda Dunn White. He was a skilled carpenter and wood worker who could do anything with a piece of wood. He was a veteran of the United States Navy and an avid outdoorsman. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Drew Herrington and Johnny White, and a grandson, Austin Lee Taylor. 

Survivors include his children, Jake White, Cody White, and Caleb White all of Hazlehurst, Chris Villalobos of Clewiston, FL, Haley White of Baxley, and Seth White of Washington State; siblings, Sandra Carol Kelly of Eufaula, AL, Janie Bollinger of Cochran, Cynthia Harrell of Lumber City, Phyllis Hall and Bobby White both of Baxley, and Sabra Roberts of Willacoochie; four grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews also survive. 

A memorial service will be held Monday, November 11, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Swain Funeral Home with Pastor Darron Jackson officiating. 

A visitation will be held one hour prior to the memorial service.
