Malvin Leroy Branch

Malvin Leroy Branch, age 87, of Baxley died Tuesday, November 3, 2015 at his residence.

Mr. Branch was born February 29, 1928 in Appling County to the late Willis Branch and the late Agnes Stone Branch. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend. Mr. Branch was an excellent farmer and a faithful and devout Christian. He was preceded in death by his former wife, Earlene Branch, his daughter, Teresa Boatright, sons, Ronnie Malvin Branch, infant son, Michael Branch and sister, Lucille Sellers.

Survivors include his wife, Phyllis Branch of Baxley; Three daughters, Lisa Butler of Baxley, Melanie (Richard) Lightsey and Bobbie Jo (Mike) Lynn all of Hazlehurst; Eight grandchildren, and eleven great grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held Thursday, November 5, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. from Melton's Chapel with Rev. Roger LaRoache officiating.

Active Pallbearers are Mitchell Butler, Nathan Butler, Christopher Eunice, Stacy Teston, Kelly Teston and Mike Lynn.

Honorary Pallbearers are the staff of Southern Care Hospice and all friends in attendance.

Visitation will be tonight from 6:00 until 8:00 pm at Swain Funeral Home.

Funeral arrangements were under the direction of Swain Funeral Home.
