Marian Brannen Gardner

Marian Brannen Gardner, age 84, of Waycross died Wednesday, March 23, 2016.

Mrs. Gardner was born February 28, 1932 in Appling County to the late Leonard Alonzo Brannen and the late Myrtle Dominy Brannen. She was preceded in death by her husband, Murray Gardner and five brothers.

Mrs. Gardner is survived by a daughter, Carol Gardner Bissell of Winder; son, Glenn (Teresa) Gardner of Manassas, VA; two sisters & brothers in law, Helen & Bobby Davis of Brunswick & Alice & Royce Leggett of St. Simons Island; brother & sister in law, Kenneth & Bernice Brannen of Tuson, AZ; six grandchildren, Bek Gardner, Carlie (David) Watt, Lauren (Joel) Tonge, Stephanie Mason, Jennifer Gardner, Christopher Bissell and seven great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Friday, March 25, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Miles-Odum Funeral Home in Waycross with Rev. Alan Davis officiating.

Visitation will be one hour prior to funeral service at Miles-Odum Funeral Home.

Active pallbearers are Christopher Bissell, Bek Gardner, Joel Tonge, Glenn Gardner, Wiley Norris & Alan Davis.

Interment will be in Oakland Cemetery in Waycross.
