Marion Martin "Pete" Nettles, Jr

Marion Martin (Pete) Nettles, age 72, passed away February 12, 2015 at the Appling Healthcare System.
He was born March 26, 1942 in Baxley, Georgia to the late Marion Martin Nettles, Sr. and the late Lorraine Barnes Nettles. He was a member of Spring Branch Baptist Church.
Survivors include his guardians Wilbur & Myrtle Lee Barnes of Baxley; three sisters: Donna Wheeler, Pam Carter, and Angie Alexander all of Baxley; two brothers: Robby Barnes, and Ricky Barnes both of Baxley.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM Saturday, February 14, 2015, at Spring Branch Baptist Church with the Rev. Bryan Gill officiating. Interment will follow in the Zion Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mr. Nettles will lie in state at the church one hour prior to the funeral service.
Active pallbearers: Jake Barnes, Hunter Leggett, Maverick Barnes, Tucker Barnes, Michael Barnes, and Austin Crosby.
Visitation will be Friday evening, 6-8PM, at Swain Funeral Home
