Marjorie Devereaux Westberry

September 16, 1934 — March 18, 2014

Marjorie Devereaux Westberry, age 79,passed away Tuesday, March 18, at Golden Living Center.

Mrs. Westberry was a native of Appling County and the daughter of the late Gus Parker Devereaux and the late Henrietta Ridgdill Devereaux. She was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church and a member of DAR and Daughters of the Confederacy. Mrs. Westberry retired from Civil Service Contracting Office with Ft. Stewart. She was preceded in death by a brother, Doyle Devereaux and sister, Janice Sisson.

Survivors are one daughter & son in law, Ann & Gary Bennett of Odum; Son & Daughter in Law, Deen E. & Cheryl Westberry of Jesup; 3 brothers, Olvid Devereaux of Surrency, Bryant Devereaux of Forsyth & Joe Devereaux of Surrency. 5 grandchildren & 8 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 20, 2014 at 3:00 P.M. from the Bethel United Methodist Church with Rev. Derek Hobbs officiating.

Interment will follow in Church Cemetery.

Active Pallbearers: Keith Bennett, Kelly Lightsey, Mark Wingate, Gary Moore, Jr., Ted Kicklighter & Lester Stanfield.

Visitation will be one hour prior to funeral service.

Funeral arrangements for Marjorie Devereaux Westberry age 79, of Surrency are under the direction of Swain Funeral Home.
