Martha Annette Collins

Martha Annette Yawn Collins, age 81, passed away Tuesday, July 6 2021 at Southland Healthcare & Rehab Center in Dublin.

Mrs. Collins was born July 10, 1939 in Jeff Davis County to the late Eugene H. Yawn and Sina Causey Branch. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and a retired LPN.

In addition to her parents and step-father Isom Branch, Mrs. Collins was preceded in death by her husband, Harold D. Collins, Sr.; grandson, Jacob Randall Collins; sisters, Juanita, Ivelyn, Hattie Jean; and brothers, Jack and Jim Branch.

Survivors include her children, Dean (Karen) Collins of Baxley, Randy Collins of Baxley, and Carla Ann Collins of Orange Park, FL; four grandchildren, LeeAnne (John Paul) Ewaldsen, Micah Collins, Christian (Zack) Williams and Zack Collins.  Two great grandchildren, Collin and Emie Ewaldsen, and numerous nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 8, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. from the Chapel of Swain Funeral Home with Rev. David Barber officiating.

Interment will follow in Calvary Baptist Church Cemetery.

Active pallbearers will be Zack Collins, Zack Williams, Micah Collins, John Paul Ewaldsen, Collin Ewaldsen and Jim Lawrence.

Honorary pallbearers will be all friends in attendance and employees of Southland Nursing Home, Dublin.

Visitation will be one hour prior to the service Thursday at the Chapel of Swain Funeral Home

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Swain Funeral Home.
