Martha Norris Morris

Martha June Norris Morris, age 90, of Surrency passed away Wednesday, January 3, 2024 at Appling Healthcare.

Mrs. Morris was born March 2, 1933 in Appling County to the late Randall Watson Norris and the late Annie Elizabeth Wilson Norris.  She was a member of Woodlawn Baptist Church and was a homemaker. Mrs. Morris was preceded in death by her husband, Parnell Morris; son, George Randall “Randy” Morris, Sr; son-in-law, Charles Lonnie Woodall, Sr; and grandsons, Brad Redwine and George Randall “Andy” Morris, Jr.; and eight brothers.

Survivors include her daughters, Margaret (Mike) Redwine of Baxley, Beth Morris of Rentz, Debbie Morris Woodall and Tammy (Kevin) Lewis both of Surrency; six grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 6, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at Woodlawn Baptist Church with Rev. Brad Park and Rev. Tommy Daniels officiating. Interment will follow in Milikin Cemetery.

Active pallbearers will be David Redwine, Chuck Woodall, Gary Morris, Kale Lewis, Ron Woodall, William McDonald, Bennett McDonald, Tripp Morris, Charlie McDonald, Caleb Redwine, Brodie Redwine, and Levi Lewis.

Honorary pallbearers will be the staff of the Pavilion, Dr. Tonya Fordham, Dr. & Mrs. Errol Graham and all friends in attendance.

Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church.
