Mary Ann Green Holton, age 63, of Baxley died Thursday, June 19, 2014.
Mrs. Holton was born April 13, 1951 in Appling County to the late Winifred Nute "Jack" Green and the late Modena Johnson Green. She was a member of Friendship Congregational Christian Church. Mrs. Holton was preceded in death by a brother, W.N. Green.
Survivors include her husband, William L. Holton, Jr. of Baxley; Two daughters, Angela Michelle Thomas and Lacie Baxley both of Baxley; One son & daughter in law, Michael (Wendy) Thomas of Baxley; Four sisters & brothers in law, Ann & Charles Aldridge of Baxley, Yunell Smith of Vidalia, Debbie & Richard Varnadore of Byron & Lynne & Randy Crummey of Baxley; 2 brothers & sisters in law, Edward Lee & Nancy Green of Byron and Arva Lee & Imogene Green of Baxley. 4 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, June 22, 2014 at 2:00 P.M. from Friendship Congregational Christian Church with the Rev. Barry Teutsch & Rev. James Walsh officiating.
Mrs. Holton will lie in state at the church one hour prior to the funeral service.
Interment will follow in Church Cemetery.
Active pallbearers are Willie Lee Kersey, Jr., Wendell Brown, Neil Salter, Mark Walton, David Kersey, & Chad Hutchinson.
Visitation will be Saturday evening 6:00 until 8:00 PM at Swain Funeral Home.
